An industry veteran, Dana created Alter EGO. Together with her team of senior stylists, Dana is responsible for our training and coaching programs and all artistic direction.

Meghann is one of our most tenured stylists and previously a Joico Global Educator. A crucial part of our mentorship team, Meghann educates Alter EGO Associates and assists our up and coming stylists in new color trends and techniques. Meghann specializes in Blondes, grey coverage, color corrections, keratin treatments, and perfecting your natural color.

Meet Kellodie! She has lived all over the U.S. before reaching solace in Durham, NC! We like to say she's the perfect mix of Sweet Southerner and Make-It-Happen Northerner, but mostly, Kellodie is the managerial glue that holds us together at Alter EGO Salon. At work, you can always find Kellodie deep in conversation with either a client or a stylist, constantly working hard to make someone's day just that much better. When Kellodie is off duty, she enjoys exploring National parks with her family, vibing to some alternative rock music, and embracing all things creative and quirky!

Merida was born and raised in Grimesland, NC but has since moved to Raleigh and considers her coworkers family. She loves being surrounded by the creative and supportive people at Alter EGO. With her hard working, can-do attitude, Merida is always striving to be her best self inside and outside of the salon. When Merida is at home, you can find her constructing new art projects, exploring nature, or rooting for her favorite sports teams - Go Wolfpack and Go Canes!

Mac grew up in Philadelphia but in 2019 she made the quantum leap to move to Raleigh to be closer to family and to further her self-growth. She is a people person by nature and loves being able to work alongside such creative, talented people and helping them to connect with their clients. When Mac is off the clock, she finds peace and serenity in the great outdoors and within the boundless world of arts and crafts.
